Jack Webb is Founder and President of Trend Dynamics. His investment experience in the securities and money management business began 1n 1968. Before founding Trend Dynamics, Mr. Webb spent 20 years working with domestic and international money managers.
Mr. Webb’s early career was with the First National Bank of Boston working with correspondent banks and corporations marketing investment services. Joining Merrill Lynch in 1972, Mr. Webb was responsible for working with banks, insurance companies and mutual funds in Boston. The major area of concentration was U.S. Treasury Securities and Mortgage Backed Securities. In 1977, Mr. Webb joined Salomon Brothers in Dallas with responsibility for working with financial institutions in the Southwest and the Midwest. In 1980, he joined Roulston & Company in Cleveland where he worked with high net worth individuals and institutions managing individual and corporate assets. He also worked with financial institutions providing investment advice. Mr. Webb’s career changed when McDonald & Company hired him in 1982. His responsibilities included Sales Manager for Institutional Equity Salesmen and the development of an institutional research product. Mr. Webb spent 10 years working with U.S. financial institutions marketing McDonald’s regional research product. Other responsibilities included developing new markets for McDonald research in Asia. He worked with the major banking institutions, insurance companies, brokerage firms and fund managers in Hong Kong and Japan
A graduate of Babson College, Mr. Webb is a life-time Trustee of Notre Dame College. Mr. Webb is also a member of the Financial Planners Association and the Cleveland Association for Business Economics.
David Jefcoat is a Managing Director of Trend Dynamics. Mr. Jefcoat has been in the investment industry since 1970, working with a variety of domestic and European money managers, hedge funds, banks, and individuals.
Mr. Jefcoat has concentrated on equity markets during his career. He has been involved in the sales, trading, and syndicate areas of the equity markets. Mr, Jefcoat has held senior positions at Salomon Brothers, Prudential Securities and Morgan-Keegan and Co. and had relationships with institutional money managers and hedge fund investors throughout the southwestern and midwestern United States.
Mr. Jefcoat is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, and has served on several alumni organizations.
Dale Holiday is Vice President of Trend Dynamics and his been with the firms since its inception in 1991. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Holiday assisted Mr. Webb with the computer related projects necessary in establishing Trend Dynamics, such as historical back testing and assisting in the design of Trend Dynamics’ TIPs program. He has worked extensively with Dr. Stalla’s computer models, with emphasis on design, testing, and automation. He is also responsible for maintaining and upgrading both hardware and software used by the Trend Dynamics as well as maintaining client accounts within the portfolio management software. Mr. Holiday has been in the investment industry since 1990.
He holds an AAS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from North Central State College as well as a BS degree in Business Administration from the Ohio State University.
